
The authorization will be deleted BOTH from SpexFetch and from your Eyefinity web portal

1. Locate the Authorization
- Go to the
Resultstab.
- Use the search bar to find the patient by:
First nameLast name- or
Authorization number
2. Select the Authorization(s)
- Click the
✔checkmark in the far-left column next to the authorization(s) you want to delete.
- You can select:
- A single patient
- Or multiple patients — even 5, 10, or 30 at a time
The more patients you select, the longer the deletion process may take. Please be patient.
3. Delete the Authorization(s)
- Click the
⋮three-dot menu in the top-right of the app.
- Select
Delete VSP authorizations.
This will initiate a request to remove the authorization(s).
⏳ This process typically takes 10–30 seconds.
📩 Confirmation Message
Once complete, you'll receive a message like:
1 of 1 VSP authorizations deleted
2 of 2 VSP authorizations deleted
⚠️ Note: This action cannot be undone.
🗂️ After Deletion
- The
Authorizationcolumn will showdeletedto confirm the removal.
- If the authorization PDF was previously uploaded into your EHR by SpexFetch, you will need to manually delete it there as well to avoid confusion.
